FAQs
Do you take insurance?
Yes — many extended health plans cover osteopathic treatment under “Manual Osteopathy.” I recommend checking your plan or contacting your provider directly to confirm coverage. I can provide detailed receipts for reimbursement after each session.
What does a treatment look like?
Each session starts with a short conversation to understand what’s going on in your body and what’s changed since your last visit. I’ll then use gentle, hands-on techniques to assess and treat areas of restriction, helping your body move and function more freely. Every treatment is tailored to you — no two sessions are ever the same.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for easy movement — like leggings, joggers, or athletic wear. You don’t need to bring anything specific, just yourself!
Where are you located?
I currently practice in three locations in the Toronto area:
Will it hurt?
No — osteopathic treatment is gentle and never forced. My approach is calm and precise, working with your body rather than against it. You may feel mild tenderness after treatment as your body adjusts, but it’s usually short-lived and part of the healing process.
How many treatments will I need?
That depends on your goals and how your body responds. Some people feel relief after one session, while others it’s more, Every body is different and it really is patient dependent on many factors. I’ll always be transparent and guide you toward a plan that fits you — not a one-size-fits-all schedule.
What’s the difference between osteopathy and massage or chiropractic care?
Osteopathy looks at how all systems of the body — musculoskeletal, nervous, circulatory, and more — work together. While massage focuses on muscles and chiropractic care often focuses on joints, osteopathy integrates both structure and function, using gentle techniques to support whole-body balance.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online anytime through the Appointments link on my website. If you have questions before scheduling, feel free to reach out — I’m happy to help you figure out if osteopathy is right for you.
